Integrating data to better understand demand in Adult Social Care
Multiple care agencies and organisations across the Adult Social Care sector generate significant amounts of data that is not always visible or available to councils or citizens. The clear lack of visible capacity data, for example, means council teams struggle to find care quickly, affects hospital discharge capability and adds to the burden of worry for families across the UK caring for aging and frail loved ones. These delays can lead to significant escalation in associated costs and require additional care needs – which can be delivered by community and social value organisations. This session, supported by Pairly and MyFolks, will explore how working aross public, private and social value organisations can provide access and insight to key data that will help identify hidden demand to help prevent unplanned overspend, support accurate budget forecasting and offer the opportunity of community intervention to ease the pressure on the system, tax payers and council teams.
