The MJ Future Forum North

The new agenda: Levelling up and The Spending Review

It’s back! The popular 24-hour networking, high content seminar The MJ Future Forum North returns as a physical event for the first time since December 2019 at a time of big change for local government.

This year Forum speakers will focus on the government’s levelling up programme and local government’s role in helping to deliver it. What does this imply for devolution?

The Forum will also include sessions on what the October Budget and the Spending Review mean for future local government budgets plus discussions on social care, regeneration, climate change and recruitment and retention. As well as our top speakers there will also be opportunities for networking at our charity dinner.

The forum is free to attend for local authority chief executives so put the date in your diary – registration details will follow soon.

We look forward to welcoming you!
