Impact of Labour Government on Public Sector Finances
With a new government committed to improving public services, how will local government benefit? So far their policies remain unclear, but Rachel Reeves’ autumn statement has given us some indication of their thinking.

- Will we see the trend away from traditional outsourcing continue?
- Is devolution and greater autonomy the answer?
- Can we expect to see longer-term funding settlements?
- Are we entering a new age of austerity?
