Sir Tony Redmond

Tony has had a substantial career in local government encompassing senior roles in Liverpool, Wigan, Knowlsley, Merseyside Police and Harrow, including positions of Chief Executive and Finance Director. He subsequently became Chair of the Commission of Local Administration in England and Local Government Ombudsman. More recently he has occupied the roles of Local Government Boundary Commissioner, Treasurer of Unicef UK, together with the role of Vice Chair of the Consumer Council for Water. He led the Review of Local Audit and Financial Reporting and is currently Chair of the Improvement and Assurance Board at Nottingham City Council.
